Spaghetti Pie Casserole is a creamy, cheesy meal that resembles lasagna but it definitely has a flavor twist of its own. I love it! We ate ours with Texas Toast on the side. Yum!
Last week I came across an old Taste Of Home magazine with the recipes from their recipe contest. As I was leafing through, this delicious casserole caught my eye. Patricia Lavell won the contest with it! I didn’t have the exact ingredients on hand so this recipe is a rendition of her’s. Less green pepper and garlic powder was used instead of fresh garlic cloves.
Her exact recipe here: Spaghetti Pie Casserole
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Prepare spaghetti per package directions.
Cook ground beef in a non-stick skillet, breaking it into crumbles, till done (no pink)

Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 20 minutes
Spray 11 X 7 baking dish with non-stick spray.

Add the meat for a third layer.
Sprinkle with cheeses.
Cover and back 25 minutes on 350 degrees
Uncover and bake another 5-10 minutes till bubbly.
