If you are looking for quick ‘n delicious dinner recipes, this 15 minute steak with mushroom wine sauce is the one!
This meal can be made in a jiffy. Now that our family has returned to a school schedule, I am so excited to have a great tasting steak recipe that doesn’t require a grill! Every moment saved is a blessing ♥ We love it and I think you will, too.
5-Ingredient 15 Minute Steak with Mushroom Wine Sauce
4 rib eye steaks cut thin (1/2 inch)
3/4 cup cooking sherry
3 T salted butter
2-3 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray.
Heat on medium.
Add steaks, turning occasionally.
Remove to a plate.
Melt butter in skillet.
Add sherry, garlic powder and mushrooms.
Stir for about 3 minutes.
Plate the steaks.
Scoop mushrooms on top of each.
Ladle on some sauce.
As you can see, I served ours with mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Those who follow a low carb diet will want to adjust the sides but this dish, itself, is very compatible with a low carbohydrate diet regimen.
