Are you a really busy mom? Are there days when you feel like a chauffeur? Kids have full schedules and, most of the time, mom is the way to get where they are going. Depending on the need, moms could literally be on the road and away from home all day long. If you forget something, there is no time to turn back and get it. It is essential to pack strategically so that you have everything you need with you.

My friend, Marie, did that for several years. Her son’s private school was a long distance from home. Rather than driving back and forth several times a day, she decided to work in the school as a volunteer. So, this is what she did to be prepared>> she bought herself a book bag, just like the one her son had. She packed it like she was going on a trip! She had her lunch, snacks, water bottle, first aid supplies, books and magazines, a notepad, pens, cellphone, manicure kit…the works. She was prepared! So, when her work at the school was finished, often long before her son’s school day came to an end, she had things to do right with her. What a brilliant plan!
Book bags are OK but I really like tote bags better. They serve the purpose of a purse and a tote, all in one.
Do you have a tote bag for your supplies? What is it like? Crafty ladies love to make their own. Here are some really great DIY’s that you can make and some “ready made” for those who would like to have their’s right away!
