Mexican Layer Dip is the perfect party appetizer but don’t stop there. This dip can be served as a “snacking-dinner” all on its own. It has all the food groups! Our family enjoys eating Mexican Layer Dip for game day get togethers, movie nights, birthday parties and holiday festivities.

Easy Mexican Layer Dip Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup guacamole
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 – 1/2 cup sliced black olives*
1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped green onions*
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes*
Tortilla chips for dipping
1 cup of salsa with a small serving to dab onto the top of your dip on a chip.
*Optional – according to your preferences
Directions
Spread refried beans at bottom of a pretty serving bowl.*
*I used a crystal chip and dip bowl – perfect for this recipe.
Sprinkle taco seasoning on it.
Smooth a layer of guacamole evenly on the top.
Add a layer of sour cream.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the top.
Garnish with black olives, green onions and/or chopped tomatoes according to taste.
