Football Party Ideas for The Big Game

Looking forward to the Big Game? Me too! We love football – especially when we watch it on the big screen in our comfy family room. It makes a party so easy. Go to Walmart and get your supplies. Just take it to the house and, with all of these delicious delicacies and decorations, score with your biggest fans!  Our table is filled with all sorts of yummy snacks to make it a real event. 

This year I decided to go all out and decorate our snack table with a Football Game Day look. I made “football jersey” wrappers for our Coke Zero bottle “fans” to wear and pennants for them to “wave!”  It was easy peasy to do. I’ll show you how!

First, I went to my local Walmart to buy everything I needed. I found 6-packs of Coke Zero in 500ml bottles (16.9 oz) – the perfect size to be my “fans” at my football snack table. 

Aiming for lots of variety with our refreshments, RITZ® crackers were a great choice. They can be topped with different cheeses, spreads and garnishes like mini pepperonis or olives. They look great on my football platter (below.)  

Printables (three kinds) 

Bright Colored Copier Paper

Craft sticks or popsicle sticks

White Cardstock

White school glue

Clear tape

Scissors

Coke Zero in 16.9 oz bottles

Numbers for the Football Jerseys
Pennant / Flag

• Print Pennant/Flag printable page on colored paper
• Print Football Jersey Wrappers on colored paper
• Print Numbers for Football Jersey printable page on white cardstock
• Cut them all out.
• Glue pennants to craft sticks using white school glue.
• Glue a number in the center of each jersey strip of paper.
• Wrap a “jersey” around a Coke Zero  bottle and tape it in the back.
• Tape a pennant-on-a-stick to the backside of the bottle. 
• Done!
