I hope everyone had a wonderful week! I’m hearting all the fall posts on the party last week.
The bees and butterflies are having a ball this week grabbing all the nectar they can since the rains have stopped for a while. Before long, all the color from annuals will be gone. I’m still waiting for cooler air to creep in.
But, who am I kidding?
I live in the deep south and it doesn’t cool down until November or so. For those of you who experience cooler temps, send some south!!

Thank you for hosting! This is what was served the of week 8-19- to 8-23 in my home. On Tuesday is Blueberry Lemon Cake Cheesecake. Wednesday is Blue Velvet Cupcakes. And ending Labor Day Treats week on Friday I am serving my American Flag Krispy Treats. Enjoy!
My sister and I were just talking about that very thing this week.. it’s been in the low 70’s here and she’s sweltering with high 90’s and low 100’s… wish we could combine them so we could both have weather in the 80’s!
