Do you know that there is a total lunar eclipse, a “blood moon,” over North America this week? There is! I love watching the heavenlies and this is a unique opportunity for our hemisphere. Of course, it happens at night so only the highly motivated will catch the view. It happens in the wee hours of Friday March 14th. The best way to be sure you’ll see it is to check your local weather forecasts. The meteorologists will tell you whether the sky will be clear enough and what time it will be visible!
Spring is about to begin, as well! March 20th is the official first day of spring! Here in western New York, our spring does not always hold true on day #1 but this year I have high hopes. We are have early glimpses with daytime highs in the 50’s and even 60. What a great reprieve from very cold weather. How is it going where you live?
