Welcome to Happiness Is Homemade Link Party #391 – my name is Katie from Love My Messy Messy Mess and I am SO EXCITED to be your hostess for the month of September! As a native of the Western New York region, September is one of my favorite months – the leaves start to change, the weather is warm and sunny but not too hot and it’s generally just a great month as we transition out of summer.

Now let me start with I NEVER decorate for fall before Labor Day – I like to hang on to summer as long as possible! But after that first weekend in September, the time has come to break out the pumpkins.
