I have another SALT TIP: is your coffee pot getting a bit scummy? I love my Mr. Coffee coffee maker but, even after washing it with dish soap, it wasn’t coming clean.

So, I took some table salt and dumped 2 T. of salt into the pot and filled it with hot tap water. After soaking for 15 minutes, when the water was cool enough to handle, I took a sponge and wiped the insides. The results were amazing.

That glass coffee pot was SPARKLING CLEAN!
