This casserole is so simple to make and special enough to serve when company’s coming! A dinner-party favorite. Layer boneless chicken, lightly season, top with Swiss cheese, cream of chicken soup, herb cubed stuffing mix and melted butter. Bake and serve. It is just that easy!
Swiss Chicken
Ingredients
6 skinned boneless chicken breast halves
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
6 square slices of Swiss cheese
2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1/2 cup milk
2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter, melted
Place chicken in a greased 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking pan.
Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper
Top each chicken breast with a slice of cheese.
Set aside.
COmbine soup and milk.
Stir till smooth.
Spoon over the chicken, covering each piece well.
Sprinkle with dry stuffing mix.
Drizzle with butter.
Bake at 350 50 minutes or until chicken is done.
