Tammy from My Life Abundant is Food Blogger #5!

And for the final installment of our Favorite Food Bloggers series I am featuring my blogging friend, Tammy Adams, from My Life Abundant!  Tammy and I have had the pleasure of co-sponsoring some fun holiday giveaways and co-hosting the Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop for many years.  I have always admired her work and top notch photographic talents and thought you’d enjoy learning a little bit about her for our fifth and final installment of this series.

Conversations with Tammy:

Me: Tammy, I have been following your blog for years and we’ve cohosted our blog hop together since “forever!”  Your food photos are so great they make me wish I could just reach in and grab a bite!  As our Favorite Food Blogger #5,  I’ve got a few questions to help the readers get to know you a little better.

Me: When did you start your blog, My Life Abundant?

  • I started my blog about 15 years ago, that would be about 2011!

Me: How did that startup go?

  • I’ve been techy since the 70’s and built my first website almost 20 years ago, when blogs came out on Blogger. It went well and I really enjoyed it! I did that for several years until WordPress came out and have been on that platform ever sense.

Me: Tammy, you have many types of posts on your blog including garden tips, home decor, crafts, printables, vintage, travel and even some books you and your hubby have written!  Since we are featuring favorite food bloggers, though, I really wanted to zero in on your low-carb recipes.  I enjoy low-carb dishes myself and good recipes are hard to find.  How did you get started developing your scrumptious recipes?

  • Well, my blood sugar went really high about 10 years ago, which was a major incentive to make some changes. I knew I didn’t want to take meds so, I started eating a low carb diet and it’s been that way ever since! My two favorite recipes, which I make all the time, are:  Low Carb Crustless Pizzas, there are so many ways to make them, and Low Carb Spicy Cauliflower Casserole – it is so good!

Taking Tammy’s lead, her favorite two low carb recipes are the ones we will share here for you!  When you click on them, it will take you to right the recipe on her blog.  I recommend pinning them when you get there so that you can access them any time you want to!

Fun Fact about Tammy: She will not eat coconut, sushi, beets, or liver! 🤣
