Message from Linda:     We almost through September, how did that happen? Well I am back from my cruise and ready to get back to normal, so with that the party is back and the features have been selected and this week is all about Fall scents or Apple and Pumpkin. We are ready to party together, and with that welcome to Happiness is Homemade 656 Searching through all the features I rediscovered the ones from last week and found some new ones to feature. I’m Linda from A Labour of Life, and I’ll be your host this month. I’m so happy you’re here! Our blogging community has certainly changed over the years. At one point we had a dozen co-hosts, and today we’re down to three. Even so, this weekly party continues because of all of you. Your creativity, recipes, DIY projects, crafts, travel stories, home inspiration, and seasonal ideas are what make Happiness is Homemade such a special place each week. If you’re a blogger and have ever thought about becoming a co-host, we’d love to hear from you. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome. Now let’s celebrate another week of amazing inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating. Be sure to link up your latest posts, visit a few others, and spread a little blogging love along the way.

Homemade Apple Jam (Easy Small Batch Recipe, No Pectin Needed)

Y’all, there is just something about apple season! The minute the weather even hints at cooling off (which takes a while here in Mississippi), I start craving all things apple and cinnamon. The best part? This is more of a chunky apple preserve than a smooth apple jelly, with real pieces of apple in every spoonful. Think of it as the perfect cross between apple butter and apple pie filling… it’s so, so good!! .

Caramel Apple Cupcakes

When fall gets busy, a batch of Caramel Apple Cupcakes is an easy way to bring those cozy autumn flavors to the table without making an entire caramel apple bar. These homemade cupcakes combine sweet apple butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, fluffy cream cheese frosting, and a gooey caramel drizzle. They are such an easy caramel dessert recipe to satisfy that sweet tooth at a portion of the calories. .

Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte Recipe

This Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte is everything you want from a fall drink without the coffee shop line or the coffee shop price tag. It’s warm, spiced, just sweet enough, and ready in about 10 minutes — no espresso machine required. .

The Autumn Wardrobe Edit and Plan

At the start of autumn, it’s very tempting to think you need something new. But before you buy anything it helps to take a clear look at what you already have. A simple Autumn Wardrobe Edit and Plan can show you what still works, what no longer helps and what would make getting dressed easier this season. .

Wow!  When I found these storage bins with bamboo lids I flipped!  How is it possible to have such pretty, trendy storage containers for toys and other misc items that look so nice?  I like them so much I have to show you two pictures of them to give you the BIG picture!  OK?  #ad

So here is what they look like with children’s toys in them.  Nice, huh?  Now see them in a “grown up” environment…

There are LOTS of places you can use them and enjoy “dressing up the view” so to speak.

Imagine leftover technology … you know, the stuff you don’t use right now but won’t part with quite yet IN CASE they actually still GO TO SOMETHING???  Cords, old phones, old remotes, wires, connectors and “thingies” you don’t really have a name for.  Use one or more of these “bins of beauty” and get the tangled mess out of sight!
