My absolutely favorite home appliance is my vacuum cleaner.  

Why?  Because it ended the nightmare of pet hair EVERYWHERE!  My previous vacuums were not doing the job and it was getting very frustrating.  Then, finally,  I got a Shark and it solved everything!  I am forever glad!
