I would like to personally apologize to CAT OWNERS everywhere. I have always had dogs for pets. Do you love shopping Amazon? I do! I can browse for hours looking at all the great stuff I’d like to get. When I am doing more than window-shopping, I always look for products with 4 or 5 stars and lots of reviews. Reading first-hand accounts by real customers gives me confidence as I make decisions on what to buy. So far, that method has worked out very well for me. I haven’t had to return anything!

Amazon Prime Day is a day (and a half) of conquests. Every July, we have 36 hours to shop strategically. There are deals, deals and MORE deals to be had!

Today is Prime Day so get started! If you have your free printable shopping list (10 pages of many things you may want or NEED to buy) then get it out now. If not, just jot down the items you are looking for.

STRATEGY=> Add anything you want to your cart. LOAD IT UP! BEFORE Prime Day ends Tuesday night July 17th, go to your cart and eliminate what you have decided not to get and pay for the items you do want.

If at the end of the 30 days you do not want to pay for a Prime membership, just cancel it. Prime Day is exclusively for Amazon Prime Members so, if you do not have Prime yet, get it set up right here today!
Print out my FREE 10 page Deal-Busting Shopping List worksheet. This free printable is designed to help you to identify the items you want to buy so that you can save a TON of money on them through Amazon on Prime Day. It can come in handy at other times, too, but to get the most out of an 36 hour sale using a planning list is a must!
Write yourself a note! Set a bookmark on your phone or write a big note and put it in a VERY VISIBLE location saying MONDAY July 16th 3:00 pm ET PRIME DAY starts. You do not want to forget to shop! (Prime Day goes through Tuesday July 17th.)
Start putting together your Shopping List. I gave you two lines on the printable after each type of item. You can use them for anything at all or nothing at all but I thought you might want to write down the current price so that you can compare when you shop. You may be surprised when you go to Amazon and find what you are looking for. It may already be one of the surprise early-bird deals! They are putting them out there every day.
BIG Strategic Move=> save your shopping items in your Amazon shopping cart in advance. Load it up! On Prime Day, go back and see what the prices are. They probably will be even lower – much lower. You can edit the cart any way you would like to including deleting items, adding new items or changing quantities. Just be sure to purchase what you keep in the cart before Prime Day ends or the prices may go back up again.

Took Me A While But Why I Finally Got Amazon Prime

Why I Love Amazon Prime

Though I have been an Amazon affiliate and have purchased products from them for years, I never signed up for Prime. I never even considered it. I didn’t comprehend the value, that is for sure. And no way did I ever think that I could actually SAVE money by getting Amazon Prime. Oh boy, was I wrong!

What changed?

We went through a period of time when the budget was tight and I literally had to figure out how to get food. I had been given a $100 Amazon gift-card for my birthday. There was my answer! I bought food from Amazon with it! I got big bags of dog food for our dogs, cleaning supplies and cooking essentials. It was so convenient, prices were good and my orders came to me – quickly! No driving. It was like having a helper working for me. That experience helped me to look at Amazon in a new way.
Then my husband became very sick. We used to share household responsibilities but suddenly that was not possible. I was doing everything myself. It was imperative that I maximize my time. No more browsing the stores in-person. No time for that. That is when I decided to do a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. My new plan was to be buying as often as possible through Amazon so that I didn’t have to go anywhere. The free shipping is what really got me – and the speed in which they delivered. 2 days is amazing! That was the deal maker. Amazon Prime is wonderful. I purchased a full year’s membership.
