Swiss cheese chicken and stuffing casserole #recipes

This Swiss cheese chicken and stuffing mix casserole is so simple to make and, yet, it is special enough to serve when company’s coming! It is a dinner-party favorite. Layer boneless chicken, lightly season, top with Swiss cheese, cream of chicken soup, herb cubed stuffing mix and melted butter. Bake and serve. It is just that easy!

Swiss Cheese Chicken and Stuffing Casserole 

Ingredients

6 skinned boneless chicken breast halves
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
6 square slices of Swiss cheese
2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1/2 cup milk
2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

Place chicken in a greased 13 X 9 X 2 inch casserole dish.
Sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper
Top each chicken breast with a slice of cheese.
Set aside.
Combine soup and milk in a mixing bowl.
Stir till smooth.
Spoon over the chicken, covering each piece well.
Sprinkle with dry stuffing mix.
Drizzle with butter.
Bake at 350°  50 minutes or until chicken is done.
Servings: 3-6 people
