My greatest challenge as a working mom has been how to get everything done, well, all the time. This daunting task remained a mysterious, unreachable goal for me but I tried. Yes, I did. Ordering out would have been a great solution, on an extravagant budget, but really? You can’t do that all the time. And pleasing everybody with any income is still “a thing!” You can’t please everybody all the time. Someone really smart said that.
So, a brilliant mom somewhere solved the problem with an uncomplicated solution. “Throw everything in a frying pan, heat it up and serve.” I can almost see her at the moment of that discovery! Of course, it is helpful to jot down a few notes so, if it actually turns out wonderfully, you can duplicate it when your gratified family, tummies full and smiles on their faces, say “make that again. Mom, please???”
