Hello, everyone! It’s Niki from Li f e as a LEO Wife here, and I will be choosing the features for the month of August. I’m back to work on the blog after a few months of hospitalizations and illness, and I am so happy to have made it back in time to choose the features for the first week this month! School has started back where I live, so I thought that I would share some ideas for getting back into the groove of things for parents and grandparents. Let’s get started! . My son loves waffles, so I had to choose these scrambled egg and cheese stuffed waffles as our back-to-school breakfast feature from Drugstore Divas! The recipe looks fancy but seems SO easy to make!

Next up, when your child arrives at school, why not have them deliver a cute, much needed gift to their teacher? Hunny I’m Home created a cute free printable gift tag that you can attach to a bottle of hand sanitizer. Your child’s teacher will definitely thank you for keeping germs to a minimum in the classroom!

For lunch time, you can print these adorable free printable notes for your kiddo’s lunchbox from Beth over at Creatively Beth. What child wouldn’t be excited to open their lunchbox every day to see what’s in there?!

If you’re a teacher for little ones, Darcy over at Darcy and Brian made these “all about me” free printables that you can have your new students fill out to get to know them! I think these would be great from students from preschool up to 1st grade.

Filling the Jars has a list of great meal planning ideas for every month in the year that will help make your dinner time decisions a little easier! This foil packet meal looks delish!

July is coming to a close but there is still time for one more party for my round is complete. This is Sinea from Ducks ‘n a Row and I have been hosting Happiness is Homemade throughout the month. Happy July! And how is your summer going so far? We have been enjoying picture-perfect weather. I mean it. People have been posting beautiful images online of breathtaking sunsets and glorious flower gardens. It has been spectacular!

Isn’t it nice that you don’t have to stay indoors on a beautiful day to get things done online? You can work, shop, set appointments, check your bank ledger and even go to a blog hop and do it all at a park bench outside. I love it!

July is HERE!!! Oh, I love this month. The warmth. The brightness of the sun. And, the unscheduled hurricane!! What? Hurricane in Western New York in July? None of this makes sense. Granted, we are getting much less residual weather from Beryl than the folks in our southern states but still we have weather reporters alerting us that tornadoes, though rare, are something to be on the watch for. We won’t get one, I am confident, and I surely don’t want one. If you have ever lived through a tornado, tell us about it in the comments!

And still, the blog hop goes on. 🙂 We have some really great shares this week and the party will continue to grow till Saturday. Be sure to check them out and even come back again to see what else is new.
